We are now looking for a freelance Project Manager in Planning & Mobility, willing to commute to Liège, to lead a strategic transformation program for one of our clients in the energy sector, for a duration of 18 months (with possible extension of 12 months).

Our client is driving an efficiency program to optimize operational and support activities, strengthen interdepartmental coordination, and prepare for the challenges of the energy transition.

The Project Manager will join the PMO team and report to the Transformation Manager, acting as a key driver of these projects while challenging processes, organization, and SAP solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

Project Definition & Governance

• Define project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, and impacts.
• Establish governance aligned with PMO standards.
• Integrate all stakeholders (business, architects, change management, IT, etc.).

Planning & Execution

• Develop a complete roadmap and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor activities proactively and manage scope, budget, and business case.
• Deliver quality outputs on time and within budget.

Risk & Issue Management

• Anticipate and manage risks.
• Resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

Transition & Communication

• Prepare handover to IT or operational maintenance teams.
• Manage communication and reporting across all stakeholders.

Profile we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira).
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and adaptability.
• Experience in planning and/or mobility processes.
• Exposure to SAP projects (MM, PM, CS, PS) and ideally S/4HANA.
• Fluent in French (C2) and English.
